These Terms govern your use of the Imanza mobile application and website. By downloading, accessing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Eligibility & accounts
You may use Imanza as a guest or with an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorised use. You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account.
Free features and Imanza Premium
The core of Imanza is free: prayer times and adhan notifications, the full Quran with recitation and translations, the Qibla compass, hadith and dua libraries, the Hijri calendar, the tasbeeh counter, prayer logging and more. Imanza Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks additional features such as offline Quran text and audio, reading plans, the Ramadan fasting log, prayer insights, extra themes, home-screen customisation and cloud sync. The exact feature list and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Billing. Purchases are made through Google Play and are governed by Google Play's terms. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the current period ends.
- Trials and offers. Where a free trial or introductory price is offered, it converts to the regular price unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Changes. We may change prices or the set of premium features. Price changes apply from your next renewal and Google Play will notify you in advance where required.
- Restore. Use "Restore purchases" in Settings to re-activate Premium on a new device signed into the same Google account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, circumventing premium entitlements, accessing it through automated means that place unreasonable load on our or third-party services, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Religious content disclaimer
Prayer times, the automatic calculation-method choice, Qibla direction, Hijri dates and Ramadan/Islamic event dates are calculated estimates derived from astronomical formulas, your device location/sensors and your chosen settings. They may differ from local mosque announcements, official moon-sighting determinations or local religious authorities. Hadith, tafsir and dua texts are reproduced from published collections and translations and may contain transcription or translation differences. Imanza is an aid, not a substitute for authoritative local guidance. Always verify times, dates and rulings with your local community and scholars where precision matters.
Content & intellectual property
The Quranic text, translations, recitations, tafsir works, hadith collections and duas are sourced from publicly available Islamic resources and remain the heritage of the Muslim community and, where applicable, their respective rights holders. The Imanza application itself — including its name, design and software — is owned by its developer and protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Third-party services
The app relies on third-party services, including Supabase, Google (Sign-In, Play Billing, Maps, Places), RevenueCat, Aladhan, AlQuran Cloud and the Islamic Network CDN, jsDelivr-hosted hadith and tafsir datasets, OpenStreetMap and ipinfo. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or content of third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy of religious or location data, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for Premium in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law or Google Play policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
